‘You Can Ask That’ Webinar: A candid conversation about preventing gendered violence in TAFEs and RTOs

Monday, 24 March 2025 | 12:30-1:15pm AEDT | Online via Zoom | FREE

Ask the taboo questions. Get straight answers.

Every workplace has them – those awkward questions about sexual harassment and gendered violence that people are afraid to ask. Questions like:

“Can workplace sexual harassment actually be prevented?”

“Why don’t gender-neutral approaches work?”

“What’s the minimum we need to do to comply with the Gender Equality Act?”

“Don’t men experience violence too?”

At Women’s Health East, we’ve spent 30 years preventing gendered violence in Melbourne’s east. There’s no question we haven’t heard, no myth we can’t bust, and no taboo topic we shy away from.

This isn’t your typical webinar

This 45-minute session gives you the chance to:

  • Submit questions anonymously – ask what you’ve always wanted to know but were afraid to voice
  • Get evidence-based answers without the jargon or buzzwords
  • Challenge assumptions about what works and what doesn’t in TAFE and RTO environments
  • Connect with others facing similar challenges in meeting Gender Equality Act obligations

Who’s answering your questions?
