Gender Equality Act 2020 – Fact Sheet

The Gender Equality Act 2020 takes effect on March 31^st 2021 and requires the Victorian public sector, local councils and universities to audit, measure and progress gender equality within their respective organisations. The Act aims to tackle the key drivers of gender inequality through the enactment of a series of obligations that apply to both internal and external aspects of organisations.
