Our work

We drive change through evidence, collaboration and action

We are a health promotion organisation that advances gender equality, prevents gender-based violence and improves women’s health in Melbourne’s east.

We work with governments, organisations, and communities, equipping them to address the causes of gender inequality, gender-based violence and women’s poor health outcomes, so that they can contribute to creating a fairer, healthier and safer society.

We deliver health promotion programs for, and with, local women who experience marginalisation and disadvantage to advance their health, safety and wellbeing.

Our work is intersectional and informed by latest research and the lived experiences of local women. We:

  • influence public health policy
  • deliver programs that work directly with women and communities
  • support organisations to develop gender equitable policies, programs and services
  • deliver training and capacity building initiatives
  • develop resources that enable organisations to understand and address women’s health, safety and wellbeing.
