Women’s Health East is strongly committed to the protection of personal privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information provided to us. In all our activities, we comply with relevant privacy laws, regulations and codes of conduct.

Women’s Health East collects some personal information as part of our research, community surveys, consultations and program evaluation activities. We also maintain a listing of Women’s Health East members and their contact details.

How Is Your Privacy Protected?

Personal information is information which directly or indirectly identifies an individual, or which could reasonably identify an individual.

When collecting personal information, Women’s Health East will ensure that:

Website Privacy and Security

Women’s Health East uses a range of applications to gather data about visits to our website including but not limited to Google Analytics. Information collected includes dates and times of visits, pages viewed, IP addresses, and length of visits. The data collected does not identify individuals.

Our website uses ‘cookies’ to monitor website visiting patterns and assist return visitors to the website by storing visited web pages on your computer as Temporary Internet Files. ‘Cookies’ identify your computer, but do not identify you personally. Individuals can block or restrict ‘cookies’ by adjusting the Privacy settings on their internet browser.

Our website uses secure transmission facilities for all online communications, including membership applications and online surveys.

Our website includes links to other external websites. This Privacy Statement does not apply to linked external websites and Women’s Health East is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external websites.
