Women’s Health East, with support from Maroondah City Council, would like to invite you to attend a free workshop on technology facilitated abuse and its relationship to domestic and family violence. Presented by The Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner, the workshop equips frontline and specialist staff, support workers, PVAW workers and those volunteering in the domestic violence field with up-to-date practical skills and knowledge to support women and families experiencing, or at risk of, technology facilitated abuse.
The session will be opened by Speaking Out advocate, Rebecca. You will also hear from Kristine Olaris, CEO of Women’s Health East, on the soon to be released discussion paper ‘Violence Against Women Online: The intersection of technology, gender and sexism’.
